Whit Davis Lumber Plus Supports Jacksonville High School Baseball Camp

Whit Davis Lumber Plus is a proud supporter of Jacksonville High School’s Baseball Camp. The camp is divided into two age groups: 6-8 year olds and 9 years of age and up. Campers reported to duty on Monday, January 25 at the Jacksonville Field House. This is a five day camp with the younger group practicing from 6:00pm-7:00pm and the older group taking the field from 7:30pm-9:00pm.

This camp, designed by the baseball coaches of Jacksonville High School, will teach the kids fundamentals in hitting, fielding and throwing. Junior and Senior Jacksonville High School baseball players will be on hand to help the campers learn to play each position on the field. Overall, the goals of the camp are to enhance the players’ performance with the use of specialized drills and increase their bat and arm speed through muscle memory. Whit Davis Lumber is a family-owned and operated company with locations in Jacksonville, Cabot, and Greenbrier. The company serves retail customers and contractors in the Central Arkansas area.
